Start with your tower
Every tower has its own rules. Ask building management about move-in and move-out hours, lift booking, any fees or deposits, and whether protection is required for the lift and corridors. Do this for the building you are leaving and the one you are entering.
Check loading access
Ask where a truck can stop, how long it may stay and how far the loading point is from the service lift. A long carry adds time, and that changes the plan.
Choose your timing
JBR and the streets around it are busy, especially at weekends and in the evenings. An early start usually means easier access and more time in the lift.
Pack for a tower move
- Use strong cartons so boxes survive the lift and the trolleys
- Label every box with the room it belongs to
- Disassemble large furniture in advance where you can
- Keep valuables, documents and essentials with you

Studio and 1-bedroom moves start from AED 650 and go up to AED 1,450. Two to three bedroom moves start from AED 1,350 and go up to AED 2,850. Your final price depends on volume, distance and access.
